Description
SCAT Lab Safety GL45 Safety Waste Cap V2.0 is a hermetically sealing cap designed to work with SCAT exhaust filters to provide safe disposal of vapor, solvent, and HPLC waste. This safety waste cap is designed to fit bottles with a GL45 thread and features 2, 3, or 4 capillary connections, as well as a connection port for a SCAT exhaust filter (available separately). Each cap includes 2.3 and 3.2mm PFA fittings for each capillary connection and blind plugs to close off unused ports. Models with 2 and 4 capillary ports include a tubing port and polypropylene fitting for 6.4 - 9mm ID tubing.
SCAT Lab safety waste caps are manufactured with chemically resistant PTFE materials molded to create and maintain secure connections. The interior of the cap body contains an additional PTFE layer that protects the inner seal from corrosive solvents. Tubing connections are molded into the white PTFE core that can rotate 360° to allow easy container changes without twisting the capillaries or causing tubes to tangle.
