The SCAT Lab Safety Exhaust Filter for Barrels have activated carbon to protect workers and the environment and ensure occupational safety. With an internal adsorption surface of 1,500m²/g and a CTC adsorption of >90%, the SCAT activated carbon is the most powerful filter medium for solvent vapors.

The recommended service life for SCAT exhaust filters is up to 9 or 12 months depending on the filter size, flow rate, temperature, and the composition of the waste being collected. These factors can vary significantly and are dependent upon the application.
