Description
Sartorius Stedim Biotech TuFlux TPE Tubing is a translucent thermoplastic elastomer tubing designed to guarantee an easy identification due to the embedded color stripe. TuFlux TPE Tubing is a highly resistant sealable and weldable tubing designed to facilitate fluid transfer in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical applications such as media and buffer processing, filtration, fermentation, and cell harvest. Also suitable to be used with peristaltic pumps for liquid transfer applications.
Every dimension has a dedicated unique color within the standard range of TuFlux TPE for a clear identification. This color stripe is fully embedded into the tubing wall and does not have contact to the inner or the outer surface of the tubing. A color guide can be found in the product datasheet.
TuFlux TPE is produced by Raumedic (Germany) under clean room conditions according to ISO 14644, ISO class 7. The production site of Raumedic is certified according to ISO 13485:2003. In collaboration with Raumedic, Tuflux TPE tubing is put through stringent testing. Biological, chemical and physical tests combined with extensive extractable testing to provide users of Tuflux TPE tubing with data representing a variety of processing conditions covering a lot of applications.
