Description
The White Mountain Process Top Entry Mixer is a custom designed mixing option for top-entry mixing vessels in production, industrial, laboratory, and biopharmaceutical applications. Many aspects of the mixer can be customized. The stainless steel motor is available in electric, air/pneumatic, or hydraulic variants with 0.18 to 50hp ranges. The top entry mixer comes with a gear drive or direct drive. These drives can provide many output speeds and have an inline or right angle gear box. An electric speed controller is wired to the unit and features digital readouts, air control valves, FRL's, and tachometers.
Additional customizations can be made to the seal, shaft, impeller, and mounting types. Seal options include a cartridge mechanical seal, LIP seal, CIP seal, double seal, whisper quiet seal, nitrogen gas seal, or seal barrier system. The mixer shaft is available in all diameters and with plastic, 316L stainless steel, or coated stainless material. Electropolish and passivation services can also be added to the stainless steel option. Numerous axial and radial impeller options are available, as well as low level kicker impellers. These impellers can have a welded or set screw shaft. Mounting options for the top entry mixer include tri-clamp, plate, flange, NPT bung, tote cap, tote/drum lid, and bottom mounts.
