Description

The Quattroflow QF5k Series 4-Piston Diaphragm Pump with Multi-Use Chamber is designed for biopharmaceutical applications requiring a max flow rates of 5,000 to 6,000lph. The QF5k minimizes non-recoverable product with a patented valve plate design that promotes self-draining and venting. The enhanced venting of the QF5k series reduces the minimum flow rate required to remove entrapped air during priming. Additionally, the QF5k multiple-use version features a stainless steel housing that is autoclavable with SIP and CIP capabilities.

Quattroflow QF5k Series is available with a standard AC, compact, HT, or Q-Control drive to fit the needs of many applications. The AC drive version comes with a 3-phase asynchronous motor. The compact drive version reduces the pump's spacial footprint by incorporating a “pump next to motor” design. Pumps including the HT drive version feature a plug-and-play design with an integrated motor, controller, and keypad. Lastly, the Q-Control system is designed with an integrated pump controller and direct sensor connection.

Quattroflow pumps operate in a gentle, safe, and secure manner and securely convey aqueous solutions and biological products sensitive to shear force. The design does not feature a mechanical shaft seal or wetted rotating parts, to ensure total product containment without abrasion. Furthermore, the pumping mechanism enables risk-free dry-running, low pulsation, self-priming, and minimal particle generation.
