Description

PendoTECH Air in Tube Detector is a non-invasive device that operates with sound waves to detect the presence of air or liquid within a tube. The detector has a panel-mounted design that is available for tubing with a 1/4 to 3/4in OD. This ultrasonic detector can be used with all tubing types, even if they're not transparent, and can be integrated into the control systems to measure the output and trigger response in biopharmaceutical applications. 

The output of the PendoTECH Air in Tube Detector is designed to continue indicating the presence of air for a minimum of 11 milliseconds after the bubble has passed through the sensor to allow fast-moving bubbles to be detected. Bubbles are detected when the size is greater than 50% of the tubing's inner diameter in most liquids, however, groups of micro-bubbles or foam will also be detected as bubbles.
