PendoTECH Leviflow Single Use Flow Sensor

PendoTECH Leviflow Single Use Flow Sensor is part of the Leviflow Flow Meter system used for ultrasonic flow measurements in biopharmaceutical applications. These sensors can measure maximum flow rates between 0.8 and 80lpm and accuracy ranges of >6 to 18.81l/m: ±1 %. They contain no moving parts and have a tri-clamp connection of 3/8, 1/2, or 1in to allow the sensor to easily integrate into new or existing systems.

The Leviflow flow meter system works by combining the Leviflow single use flow sensor and Leviflow sensor monitor to produce a high precision accuracy of the flow measurement readings. The flow sensor contains two piezoelectric transducers within its housing that generate and receive an ultrasonic wave. The wave going in the direction of the flow (with-stream wave) is accelerated and the wave going against the flow direction (against-stream wave) is slowed down. The two waves are processed by the Leviflow Sensor Monitor, which determines the difference in transit time of the two waves to determine the velocity of the fluid. The monitor can then be interfaced to output the data for process control and data acquisition.
