The PendoTECH single use conductivity sensor installs onto a flexible bioprocess container and utilizes a port plate with a sensor receptacle sealed to the film during the manufacturing process of the container. It features a guard to protect the container from electrodes and is made of polyethylene specifically for port plate use. It also uses a locking anti-rotation tab to hold locking collar in place. The conductivity sensor port plate is compatible with gamma irradiation, NaOH resistant, and meets USP Class VI.

The sensor itself features a double O-ring seal and a stop to ensure the sensor is fully inserted. After manufacture of the container, the sensor is inserted into the port plate receptacle. The locking collar on the sensor holds it securely in place.
