Description

Eldon James threaded elbow fitting allows for easy change of direction of fluid flow in medical, automotive, and beverage applications. These elbow fittings come in a variety of chemical-resistant materials with a 1/16 to 1in single barb connection on one side and a 1/8 to 1in NPT thread on the other. Cleanroom manufacturing and packaging in an ISO Class 7 facility is available for MN, NK7, and PP materials. Standard grade material fittings come in quantities of 100 per pack while cleanroom certified fittings can be purchased in quantities of 25 or 100 pieces per pack.

Each elbow features one single barb connection that allows the tube to be compressed behind the barb and create a more secure seal than multiple barb configurations. They are constructed with an anti-rotation device on the barb shaft to prevent the tubing from rotating or twisting on the elbow fitting, and no parting lines to help prevent leak paths from forming.

Eldon James offers natural materials such as medical nylon, natural nylon, natural Kynar, and polypropylene that may be produced and packaged within a cleanroom. Nylon provides excellent tensile strength with moderate stiffness and high impact resistance that works well in medical and industrial applications. Kynar offers excellent chemical resistance, inherent flame resistance, high gamma radiation resistance, good UV and weather resistance, good mechanical properties, low moisture absorption, and good machinability. Polypropylene is a very versatile material and formulated for biomedical and bioprocess applications. It is radiation stable and is resistant to solvents, chemicals, water, and other inorganic environments.
