Foxx Life Sciences Vactrap2 Round Vacuum Trap System

Foxx Life Sciences Vactrap2 round vacuum trap system is designed to protect vacuum lines and scientists while safely containing waste from supernatant removal, chemical separation, and cell or tissue culture media aspiration. The Vactrap2 R system comes ready to use and is constructed of a round heavy-duty polypropylene bottle, VersaCap, platinum-cured silicone tubing, and a red bin to contain the components. Other Vactrap2 R options offer an additional bottle or setups without secondary containment.

Each thick-walled, autoclavable bottle comes with a Foxx VersaCap closure that allows for a tangle-free opening without having to disconnect the tubing. The EZBio heavy-duty TPE V tubing does not kink and includes a 0.2μm PTFE inline vent filter that retains any aerosolized bacteria. EZBio TPE V tubing accepts Pasteur pipettes and other attachments for versatile aspiration. This system is then secured within a secondary container with a small footprint to increase stability and prevent spills.
