Foxx Life Sciences Vactrap XL Vacuum Trap System

The Foxx Life Sciences Vactrap XL vacuum trap system is designed to protect vacuum lines and scientists by safely containing waste from supernatant removal, chemical separation, and cell or tissue culture media aspiration. The Vactrap XL features a large 4L bottle for maximum capacity in the application and each assembly comes as a ready-to-use system. The typical assembly is constructed of a heavy-duty HPDE or PP bottle, VersaCap, platinum-cured silicone tubing, and a red polypropylene bin to contain the components. The Vactrap XL is also available without the red overflow bin.

Each thick-walled bottle comes with a Foxx VersaCap closure that allows for a tangle-free opening without having to disconnect the tubing. The EZBio heavy-duty TPE V tubing does not kink and includes a  0.2μm PTFE inline vent filter that retains any aerosolized bacteria. EZBio TPE V tubing accepts Pasteur pipettes and other attachments for versatile aspiration. The optional red bin can be included to provide a secure hold on bottles and prevent spills.
