Description
The SCAT Lab Safety Duran Round Laboratory Bottle is manufactured with Duran borosilicate glass 3.3 and corresponds to EP/USP Type 1 borosilicate glass certified for the pharmaceutical industry. These bottles offer very good chemical resistance, inert behavior, high service temperature, minimal thermal expansion, and high thermal shock resistance. They come in 250 to 10,000ml sizes, in clear or brown glass colors, and with the option of an additional protective coating.
Brown bottles come in an amber color that offers UV protection up to approximately 500nm wavelength. Clear bottles with a protective coating feature a PU plastic jacket that offers additional protection from scratches, leaks, and splintering.
