SCAT Lab Safety SymLine FLEX Starter Set

The SCAT Lab Safety SymLine FLEX Starter Set provides a basis for connecting several laboratory workstations and HPLC systems to a central disposal or collection point. This set includes a 1000mm SymLine FlexTube, shut-off valve, canisters, exhaust filter, S60/61 threaded safety waste cap, a collection tray, fittings, and a grounding cable.

SymLine FLEX is a modular waste disposal system consisting of interconnected pipes designed to direct HPLC waste to a central location while taking up minimal space within the work area. This modular system allows the pipe system to be lengthened with extension pieces or shortened with a pipe cutter to meet the needs of virtually any workspace. All SymLine pipework is inter-compatible and can easily be adapted to the changing needs of an application.

The Safety Waste Cap included with this set features an S60/61 thread connection and utilizes proven SCAT safety technology to provide optimum protection during the supply and disposal of solvents. With this cap, and the included exhaust filter, solvent vapors are effectively blocked and filtered out. The integrated exhaust filter of the cap filters out solvent fumes and provides safe equalization of pressure within the container, allowing additional safety at the collection point.

All PTFE-EL material components are made with electrostatic conductive material that may be earthed and are suitable for voltage equalization, as per TRGS 727.
