Description
Eldon James reduction tee fittings are made of tough PVC-free materials for use in beverage, food, medical, industrial, and automotive industries. These tee fittings include one 1/16 to 1 3/4 inch and two 3/32 to 1 inch hose barb connections. They come in packages of 25 (QC only) or 100 units, with optional cleanroom manufacturing for polyethylene, Kynar, nylon, and polypropylene materials.
The reduction tee hose barb connections have a single barb design with no mold parting line, which prevents the “leak path” created by the parting lines on typical barb connectors. The barbed shaft also includes an anti-rotation device, which prevents the tubing from rotating or twisting on the tee fitting. These features give the fittings a secure and reliable seal.
Eldon James offers natural materials such as natural nylon, natural Kynar, and polypropylene that may be produced and packaged within a cleanroom environment with select sizes. Nylon provides excellent tensile strength with moderate stiffness and high impact resistance that works well in medical and industrial applications. Kynar offers excellent chemical resistance, inherent flame resistance, high gamma radiation resistance, good UV and weather resistance, good mechanical properties, low moisture absorption, and good machinability. Polypropylene is a very versatile material and formulated for biomedical and bioprocess applications. It is radiation stable and is resistant to solvents, chemicals, water, and other inorganic environments.
